Honeywell Q309A1988 Thermocouple
The thermocouple has been developed for the use with different pilot burners. As long as the pilot flame heats the tip of the thermocouple, a low DC voltage is generated which supplies the coil of the safety pilot and keeps the safety valve open. If in case of a failure the pilot flame goes out, no voltage is generated any more and the safety pilot interrupts the gas supply to the burner.
Technical data:
- DC voltage: 22...30 mV
- max. drop-out time: 30 or 45 s
- max. operating temperature: hot junction: 750° C / cold junction: 415° C
- recommended operating temperature: hot junction: 650° C +/- 50° C
